Ananda Lodge
Our approach

How Ananda holds people differently.

Six principles we don't compromise on — woven into every conversation, every meal, every breath of every ceremony.

01

Trauma-informed care

Every part of the retreat — from the way we speak to how ceremony is held — is built on trauma-informed principles. Consent, choice, safety, and pacing. Always.

02

Somatic & nervous-system aware

Healing lives in the body. Our facilitators are trained in somatic experiencing, breathwork, and nervous-system regulation, woven through every day.

03

Ancestral respect & lineage

Our ayahuasca ceremonies are led in the Shipibo lineage by traditional curanderas. We honor the cultures and people from whom these medicines come.

04

Family warmth

Ananda is owned and lived in by Kim and Jason. There is no front desk, no faceless team. You are held by humans who know your name.

05

Comprehensive preparation

Six or more weeks of preparation: 1:1 calls, screening, somatic practices, and gentle inner work — so the medicine isn't a shock, but an arrival.

06

Three months of integration

The retreat is the doorway. Integration is the path. Group calls, 1:1 sessions, and resources so insight becomes lived.

The medicines we work with

Three medicines. One ethic of care.

We work with medicines whose lineages we respect and whose traditional use we honor. Each is offered in the container best suited to it — and to you.

Ceremonial space

Ayahuasca

An ancestral Amazonian brew, held in Shipibo lineage. Deep emotional and spiritual work, traditionally in night-long ceremony.

Psilocybin

A gentler entry point. Strong therapeutic potential for grief, anxiety, depression, and self-inquiry — held in our calm ceremonial space.

San Pedro / Huachuma

A heart-opening Andean cactus medicine. A day ceremony — luminous, grounded, embodied, often in nature.
